resolutions.

Before 2012 started, I said my resolutions were the same as last year, but I've thought about it a lot since then and realised my life is far too different now, and I need some new ones! I'm going to print them out and stick them on my wall too, so I don't forget! Here goes...

This speaks for itself really. I sew a lot, but I need to get into a routine of drawing regularly. And painting and collaging and writing. And taking photos. All of it. Just do more, in general.

In 2011, I wanted to find courses to help me get better at what I do. I didn't complete that goal, so it's on my list again. I want to learn about everything, but I'll start with the things that will be most useful to me.

My blog has gone from strength to strength over the past year (thank you all for your support!) and I achieved my goal of opening an online shop. I need to make both more interesting and varied. I already have a few ideas up my sleeve. I also need to get more organised and professional, and want to have stalls at craft fairs.

I had to drop out of uni halfway through, so I only lived away from Devon for a year and a half. I love Devon a huge amount, but I feel like I need to break away and be more independant for a while. I also really want to live somewhere with more culture than Torquay.. if I do end up moving, it won't be for a good while yet, but it'll be good to visit a few places and see where I feel at home.

Recently, I realised I don't really hang out with a lot of people. There are only about 4 or 5 people that I see on a regular basis. I'm going to try and make more effort to see the rest of my friends, and that includes meeting more bloggers!

This is one that I'm sharing with one of Elliott's friends. Apparently, those who always save the best 'til last (food-wise) are likely to carry more weight because they eat more than they need to. I always always do this with every meal I eat, so I'm trying very hard not to anymore!

Stop worrying so much! Do more, think less! Grab life with both hands! And some other clichés!
