oh, christmas tree.

On Sunday, Mum and I went to get the tree for her house. Marldon Christmas Tree Farm looked very different to how it did last year when it was covered in snow, but I loved it all the same. I can remember a few years when I felt really bummed out around Christmas, and coming here always always made me feel better. That fact hasn't changed!

After we got our tree, Mum and I went to Cranks at Dartington Cider Press Centre. They do AMAZING food and it's all vegetarian. We had homity pie with salad, and an amaaaazing raspberry and chocolate roulade! (which I think Mum is going to try and recreate for Christmas day! mmmm.... )

The cats looked on as we set about decorating the tree. These photos don't really do it justice. It's so big and bushy! It's one of those trees that doesn't drop its needles too, so it looks really chunky in general. I can't wait to see all the presents underneath it!

Aw I remember your post about this this time last year :) how time has flown! your tree looks just as good, if not better than last years :) Love them when they're really big and bushy.

We've got a real one this year that doesn't drop it's needles and ours is super bushy too.xx

Some of my best childhood memories are from cutting down our family tree at the lot. Hot apple cider, sap all over the place...yeah. That's the stuff.
